For Pride Month, Park Circle is celebrating with almost 40 events around the North Charleston neighborhood over the course of a week.
Park Circle Pride returns this June with drag brunches, poetry open mics, comedy shows, happy hours, pageants and more across a variety of venues. Presented by Vive Le Rock Productions, the company behind the annual Park Circle Rockabillaque, Park Circle Pride takes place June 4-9.
Local LGBTQ+ organizations We Are Family and the Alliance for Full Acceptance are also involved in pulling off this festival of mostly free events. A few are ticketed, such as LGBTQ+ Comedy Night, Queer Adult Prom and a "Rocky Horror Picture Show" presentation.
