Imp Statue Seals are one of the many secrets that you'll find around the land in Elden Ring. These sealed doors are veiled by mist and can only be opened with a Stonesword Key. On this page, you'll find details of all the Imp Statue Seal Locations across the map.

Imp Statue Seal Locations

There are 37 different Imp Seal Statue Locations in Elden Ring, which will require a total of 47 Stonesword Keys and 3 Imbued Sword Keys to unlock them all. Given that there are 81 Stonesword Keys that can either be found in the world or bought from merchants, you can stand to have as many as 34 keys left over to use in New Game+!

Below you can find each of the Imp Statue Seal Locations organized by region. Note that the vast majority of these require regular Stonesword Keys to unlock; the only exceptions are those of the Four Belfries, which require Imbued Sword Keys. While there are more Stonesword Keys than Imp Statue doors, there are only three Imbued Sword Keys in the game.

Limgrave Imp Statue Seal Locations

• Keys Required: 2
• Unlocks: Fringefolk Hero's Grave

The very first Imp Statue you'll come across is in the Stranded Graveyard. It requires two Stonesword Keys and will unlock the Fringefolk Hero's Grave. Be warned, however, that although this Imp Statue is the first one you'll come across, the dungeon is by no means easy - as its filled with poison swamps, giant stone chariot traps, vanishing enemies, and an Ulcerated Tree Spirit boss.

Once you're strong enough to brave it, you'll find it has plenty of worthwhile rewards, including a Golden Seed, Dragon Communion Seal, an Erdtree's Favor Talisman, Banished Knight Oleg Spirit Ashes, and even an Erdtree Greatbow for finding a way to destroy the chariot.

In the northeast part of the village, east of the Tibia Mariner, you'll see some turtles in the ruins, along with a seal statue. This door requires one Stonesword Key. Down the stairs, you'll find a room with a lot more turtles and a door on the other side. This will take you to a chest with a Green Turtle Talisman inside.

Roundtable Hold Imp Statue Seal Locations

• Keys Required: 1
• Unlocks: Crepus's Black-Key Crossbow

One of two seals in the Roundtable Hold that you'll be invited to not long into your adventure, this door requires one Stonesword Key. When you arrive, go through the door to the east, then down the stairs near Smithing Master Hewg. Turn to the left, and you'll see the first of two Imp Statue Seals in this area. When you unlock the first one, you'll gain access to the second one.

Go through the door and you'll find a chest, to the left, near the fireplace. This will reward you with Crepus's Black-Key Crossbow, as well as 20 Black-Key Bolts to go with it, which are highly rare bolts that can inflict Scarlet Rot poison!

The second Imp Statue Seal here will require 2 more Stonesword Keys (for a total of 3 in this area), and will award you the Assassin's Prayerbook once you open up the second door. The book can be given to any incantation teacher (like Brother Corhyn) to learn the Darkness and Assassin's Approach incantation spells.

Weeping Peninsula Imp Statue Seal Locations

• Keys Required: 1
• Unlocks: Weeping Evergaol

Northeast of the Fourth Church of Marika, you'll see an Evergaol that can only be activated by using a Stonesword Key. For this, you'll need to fight the Ancient Hero of Zamor.

Defeat this foe in battle unassisted, and you will earn a talisman reward: Radagon's Scarseal.

North of the Minor Erdtree, there's a door underneath and behind the broken archway that will take you into the catacombs. As you go down the stairs, if you head up to the south, you'll see the Imp Statue Seal. It requires one Stonesword Key to open it.

When you break the seal, there will be two skeletons waiting for you inside and an item on the corpse ahead. This is the Nomadic Warrior's Cookbook 9. Use it to craft Rancor Pots to throw at enemies.

Stormveil Castle Imp Statue Seal Locations

• Keys Required: 1
• Unlocks: Godslayer's Seal, Godskin Prayerbook

The quickest way to this one is from the Liftside Chamber. Head south across the large barricaded battlefield, back towards the main hall with the Grafted Scion and look to the right for another cellar doorway. Go down these stairs and clear out the rats, and you'll find a seal to be unlocked - which also unlocks another seal on the other side leading back to the main gate.

Inside the cellar room, you'll find two chests. The one on the left will grant you the Godslayer's Seal, the one on the right will give you the Godskin Prayerbook. With these you'll be able to master blackflame incantations, and learn the spells Blackflame and Blackflame Blade.

When you reach the main hall with the Grafted Scion from the Rampart Tower, take the door to the northwest. Go to the left and you'll find the imp seal.

Inside are two Exiled Soldier enemies with large axes and a few corpses for you to pillage. In this room, you'll get the Hawk Crest Wooden Shield from the corpse in the southwest. The corpse by the fire has an Iron Whetblade and the corpse in the west of the room has a Misericorde.

Note that unsealing the door also unseals a small balcony with a third warrior, which you can then drop onto later if dropping down the rooftops from the top of the ramparts. If you try dropping onto this balcony earlier, you'll be stuck and will need to return to a Site of Grace.

Siofra River Imp Statue Seal Locations

• Keys Required: 2
• Unlocks: Caelid Access, Caelid Colosseum

Once you take the lift down the Siofra River Well in East Limgrave, you can explore the length of the underground area to find another lift at the north end. Two Stonesword Keys activate the lift and take you up to the Deep Siofra Well.

It's more than likely the area in Caelid you'll appear might be too high for your level, but there are important items you can gain access to here: A Runebear guards a Stonesword Key to the south, and if you travel north through a narrow gorge, you can evade the arrows of giant Golem sentries to find a Spiked Palisade Shield.

Once you've gotten much stronger, you can also challenge three random Duelist Knights of the Great Jar in front of the Great Jar at the colosseum to earn a special talisman, the Great-Jar's Arsenal.

Liurnia Imp Statue Seal Locations

• Keys Required: 1
• Unlocks: Nox Mirrorhelm

Entering the Cliffbottom Catacombs, head down the main path to reach a large room where several large Omen enemies are lying in wait. Climb the first set of stairs here, and the landing includes a large doorway with an Imp Statue Seal.

Unlocking this seal will allow access to a small room containing the Nox Mirrorhelm.

Entering the Black Knife Catacombs in the upper northeast area of Liurnia, if you follow the main path around to the left, you'll see an alcove next to a skeleton where the Imp Statue Seal is. On the corpse inside, you can collect Rosus' Axe.

• Unlocks: Academy Crystal Cave

Beneath the western side of the Academ of Raya Lucaria, there's an Imp Statue Seal that requires two Stonesword Keys to unlock. This will take you into the Academy Crystal Cave.

Inside, you'll be able to find several useful items, including a Crystal Staff, and defeating the Crystalian Bosses will award you the Crystal Release spell. As an added bonus, the end of the dungeon will teleport you to a tower inside the academy itself where you can grab the Terra Magica spell!

• Keys Required: 1 (Imbued Sword Key)
• Unlocks: Cumbling Farum Azula Island

This Imp Statue Seal requires not a Stonesword Key but an Imbued Sword Key. The Imp Statue does not give way to a door, but unlocks a teleporter instead. It unlocks a teleporter that takes you to an isolated part of Crumbling Farum Azula.

Though you can't reach the rest of the endgame area from here, you can fight two very powerful beastmen, and after defeating or dodging them, locate a very useful Pearldrake Talisman.

• Keys Required: 1 (Imbued Sword Key)
• Unlocks: Chapel of Anticipation

As above, this Imp Statue Seal requires an Imbued Sword Key. It unlocks a teleporter that will take you to the Chapel of Anticipation. Through the veiled mist, you can fight the Grafted Scion from the start of the game. Now that you're a better match, you can defeat the enemy and gain both the Ornamental Straight Sword and Golden Beast Crest Shield. You can also revisit an upper area of the chapel you started into find Spirit Ashes of Stormhawk Deenh.

This is also useful for both the White-Faced Varre Questline and the Nepheli Loux Questline as you can pick up essential items for progression there - Maiden's Blood and The Stormhawk King.

• Keys Required: 1 (Imbued Sword Key)
• Unlocks: Siofra River Ruin

This also requires an Imbued Sword Key. This teleporter will take you to a part of the Siofra River's ruins. Note that the main part of this area is not accessible via this route; you must enter through Siofra River to be able to explore the full map.

The lone isolated ruin platform you appear on features a Crucible Knight you can fight (though he offers no reward for defeating him). You can however find a Mottled Necklace on the other side of the ruins platform.

The large Moonlight Altar peak in West Liurnia can only be accessed through the Lake of Rot under Nokstella, Eternal City as part of Ranni's Quest. Once you defeat Astel, Naturalborn of the Void, you can take a lift up to the plateau.

Searching the Lunar Estate Ruins, you can find a hidden illusory cellar entrance (look for the imp seal to know where to attack the floor) that requires a Stonesword Key to access.

Inside, you'll find a chest holding the Cerulean Amber Medallion +2.

Caelid Imp Statue Seal Locations

• Keys Required: 1
• Unlocks: Sword of St. Trina

Just below the Rotview Balcony Site of Grace where you first enter Caelid, you can find an underground cellar among the ruins and giant crow monsters that can be unlocked with a Stonesword Key.

Inside the cellar, you can gain access to the Sword of St. Trina.

• Unlocks: Gaol Cave

The large prison cave dungeon located in the southwest of the Caelid Region, at the base of a cliff under Fort Gael has an Imp Seal Statue that must be removed to access the dungeon itself.

The dungeon is well-worth unlock, as it contains many cells with useful items, including a Wakizashi, Stonesword Key. Defeating the Frenzied Duelist Boss will also drop the Putrid Corpse Ashes, and reveal a path to find the Regalia of Eochaid sword!

Nokron Imp Statue Seal Locations

• Keys Required: 1
• Unlocks: Mimic Tear Ashes

On the top level of the room with the giant stone ball, before you reach the Night's Sacred Ground Site of Grace. It requires one Stonesword Key and you can open a chest for Mimic Tear Ashes.

Nokstella Imp Statue Seal Locations

• Keys Required: 1
• Unlocks: Nightmaiden and Swordstress Puppets

Upon reaching the main area of the Nokstella, Eternal City, you can travel up the stairs until you reach a high platform with a large bridge. Instead of crossing the bridge to where a Living Boulder waits, loop around the back of the building on the left to find an Imp Statue Seal blocking access to a room with Nightmaidens, who guard the Nightmaiden and Swordstress Puppet Ashes.

Mt. Gelmir Imp Statue Seal Locations

• Keys Required: 2
• Unlocks: Seethewater Cave

Located below the Minor Erdtree in a large valley, you can find a cave locked by an Imp Seal leading to the Seethewater Cave.

Exploring this small dungeon has a few notable items to claim, including a full Mushroom Armor Set, and defeating the Kindred of Rot boss will award you the Kindred of Rot's Exultation.

Volcano Manor Imp Statue Seal Locations

• Keys Required: 1
• Unlocks: Crimson Amber Medallion +1

As you exit North of the Guest Hall Site of Grace, there's an Imp Statue Seal across the bridge. It requires one Stonesword Key to open.

Inside, you'll have to defeat an Abductor Virgin machine, and afterward you can climb the stairs to a platform overhead to find the Crimson Amber Medallion +1, an improved health talisman.

• Unlocks: Dagger Talisman, Seedbed Curse, Ash of War - Royal Knight's Resolve

Getting to this Imp Statue Seal requires you to start at the Temple of Eiglay Site of Grace, where you'll need to defeat the Godskin Noble. From here, take the lift up to the second floor and go outside on the balcony. Follow this round until you can drop down onto the ledge, with the lava. Take this path up, then into the building with a jail cell door. Open this door and continue along this path until you come to a part of the manor, where you can open the door to the right and reveal an altar. Go up the stairs to the left, turning back on yourself and up. Through this door is an Imp Statue Seal that requires two Stonesword Keys.

This will unlock an area full of hanging cages, but before you cross them, drop down below to a lower ledge first, and climb up stairs to another ledge overlooking the cages with a Dagger Talisman. Next, you can drop down to the bottom of the cage room and open the locked door near the entrance to the manor. It also has a corpse with Seedbed Curse that's crucial for the Dung Eater Questline, plus the Ash of War: Royal Knight's Resolve in the opposite room.

Altus Plateau Imp Statue Seal Locations

• Keys Required: 2
• Unlocks: Unsightly Catacombs

Located in the far southwest of the Altus Plateau region where the Ruin-Strewn Precipice leads to from Liurnia, you can find the entrance to a dungeon under the Perfumer's Ruins locked by an Imp Statue Seal, which requires Stonesword Keys to access to Unsightly Catacombs.

Inside, you can find a few items to collect like Glovewort and the Winged Misbegotten Ashes. and defeating the boss duo of Perfumer Tricia and a Misbegotten Warrior will give you access to Perfumer Tricia Ashes herself!

To access the tunnel found at the base of Mt. Gelmir below the Bridge of Iniquity, you'll need two Stonesword Keys.

By undertaking this dungeon, you can find assorted loot that includes various Smithing Stones, a Troll's Hammer, and the Boltdrake Talisman +1. By defeating the Stonedigger Troll boss at the bottom of the tunnel, you can also earn the Great Club weapon.

• Unlocks: Golden Lineage Evergaol

To activate the Evergaol, located just east of the Grand Lift of Dectus, you'll need one Stonesword Key. This allows you to face off against [1], who fights very much like his kin, Godrick.

Defeat him, and you'll gain the Godfrey Icon talisman.

Head northeast up into the ruins, and in the second structure, the Imp Statue Seal is here. Below the ruins, you'll find a chest with the Pearldrake Talisman +1.

• Unlocks: Lightning Scorpion Charm

Not only is there an Imp Statue Seal in the ruins of Wyndham, but the catacomb dungeons against the cliff base above the ruins also has a seal inside it.

After fighting your way through a flooded room guarded by an electrified Leyndell Knight, you cna climb a ladder and find it at the end of a corridor, granting access to the Lightning Scorpion Charm.

As soon as you go down into the grave from the lift (and defeat the Black Knife Assassin guarding the entrance), the Imp Statue Seal is in front of you, to the right. Unlocking it will grant access to the Crimson Seed Talisman. But that's not all...

• Unlocks: Dragoncrest Shield Talisman +1

A second seal can be found further in the dungeon, requiring you to ride up a falling guillotine trap. You'll enter a room with a pair of archways under the stairs sealed by an imp statue.

Accessing this Imp Statue Seal will award you the Dragoncrest Shield Talisman +1.

• Unlocks: Golden Epitaph

Entering the Auriza Hero's Grave on the far northeast side of the Capital Outskirts, you should see it as soon as you enter. There are two creatures in the room to kill and you'll be rewarded with a Golden Epitaph sword.

Mountaintops of the Giants Imp Statue Seal Locations

• Keys Required: 1
• Unlocks: Flame, Protect Me

As soon as you go down on the lift, you'll see the first of two Imp Seal Statue doors. This one requires one Stonesword Key to open, and thankfully holds no surprises. What it does hold is an incantation spell - Flame, Protect Me!.

• Keys Required: 1
• Unlocks: Cranial Vessel Candlestand

If you make your way to the southern part of the grave past a fire trap, there is another Imp Seal Statue door up the stairs, to the north, guarded a Flame Monk.

Be on the lookout for two shadowy Imps that can ambush you in this room - and raise the flame trap pillar if you need to so that it can flood the room with light to make the imps vulnerable. At the back of the room, you'll be awarded the Cranial Vessel Candlestand colossal weapon.

• Unlocks: Spiritcaller's Cave

Located on the northwestern edge of the great frozen lake in the Eastern Mountaintops of the Giants, the Spiritcaller's Cave dungeon can only be accessed by unlocking the Imp Statue Seal at its entrance, where you'll find many Spirit Jellyfish nearby.

Inside, you can find the White Reed Samurai Armor Set, and face another Spiritcalling Snail who will sic the Godskin Duo at you. Lure the snail boss out and defeat it, and you'll earn the Godskin Swaddling Cloth Talisman, and Black Flame Ritual incantation.

Located at the eastern edge of the frozen river that runs through the Consecrated Snowfield hidden region, you can unlock the entrance to the Cave of the Forlorn Dungeon in exchange for a few Stonesword Keys at its entrance.

In this dungeon, you'll find a lot of materials guarded by Misbegotten in the icy cave, leading to a Misbegotten Crusader boss who wields the legendary Golden Order Greatsword that you can claim!

Miquella's Haligtree Imp Statue Seal Locations

• Keys Required: 1
• Unlocks: Triple Rings of Light

From the Prayer Room Site of Grace once you reach Elphael, Brace of the Haligtree, go outside and drop down to the right immediately. The roof you land on has a room underneath that can be accessed by an Imp Statue Seal. This requires one Stonesword Key. Inside you'll receive the Triple Rings of Light incantation.

• Unlocks: Marika's Soreseal

Facing the above Imp Statue Seal, look down to the left, right at the very bottom and you'll see another Imp Statue Seal. Be wary of the Royal Revenants who guard this lower trench, and unlock the seal to access the Marika's Soreseal Talisman.

Crumbling Farum Azula Imp Statue Seal Locations

• Unlocks: Dragon Temple Lift

Located along the northern edge of the large Dragon Temple area in Crumbling Farum Azula, you can find a balcony area with an imp statue seal locking access to a lift leading to the Temple's rooftop - which also leads to several items:

• A Golden Seed
• A Scarab holding the Golden Lightning Fortification Incantation
• Two sleeping dragons!
• The Ancient Dragon Apostle's Cookbook 4
• The culmination of Iron Fist Alexander's questline and his talisman.
