Off the court with Carter
Describe what it is like to play in Field House: Even when I was on a different team, playing in the field house was electric. There's nothing else like it.
First started volleyball: 10 years old
Most memorable volleyball match: Sweeping Nebraska in three sets last season.
The best part of playing volleyball is: The adrenaline rush you get when you step out onto the court, and the family you gain in the process. My teammates are my best friends.
My favorite thing about Wisconsin volleyball is: How passionate and competitive we play, in all things on and off the court. I never knew a game of Uno with your team could get so heated!
Before each match, I: like to get hype with my team and dance around before going off on my own to center my focus and breath.
Best UW road trip: Driving to Venice was very fun, we played games the whole way.
One word that describes the team: Fire
One word that describes me: Competitive
What is the best thing you bring to the team? I feel like I bring a lot of confidence and steady energy to the team. I walk into any situation with my head held high and believing in my ability to excel.
Whom do you live with on campus: MJ and Devyn
Favorite thing to do off the court with my teammates is: I like to just hangout and watch movies with my teammates when we're not in the gym. It's fun to just be able to relax with them.
Most memorable volleyball achievement: Making First Team all Big Ten as a freshman.
Is there anything significant about your uniform number? It was my dad's jersey number throughout his NBA career.
What do your parents do?Dad: General Manager of the Denver Nuggets and Mom: Stay at home mom
The best thing about the Field House is: The fans and the noise.
My “Bucky” List is: Try a brat.
Dream as a collegiate player: To win theBig Ten and a National Championship
Post-college plans/goals: Hopefully playing professional overseas
The best thing about Madison is:The campus, It’s so beautiful and there’s so much to do. I love the terrace the most.
What is your favorite Coach Sheffield saying?When Kelly describes anything he gets very animated, and I just love it. It gets me fired up every time.

What does it mean to be a Badger?
